Dr. Jurgensen & Associates, in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, is currently looking for an outstanding part-time Optometrist to join their dynamic team.

We are seeking a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist, approximately 14-20 hours a week, who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and practicing at the highest level of the profession. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time role, with a clear path toward future practice ownership for the right candidate.

What you'll do:

• Comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages
• Contact lens fittings and specialty contact lenses
• Diagnosis and management of ocular disease
• Myopia management
• Vision therapy
• Sports vision training
• Optomap® ultra-widefield retinal imaging
• Pre- and post-operative co-management
• Personalized patient education and preventive eye care

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Current Illinois optometry license
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care
• New graduates and experienced optometrists are encouraged to apply
