Brand: Cub Foods Cub Rockford Road is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part-time overnight cashier position. Cashiers at Cub follow front-end checkout procedures in all transactions, maintaining positive customer relations and expedient processing of all orders. This position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates. • Perform product scanning and processing of customer orders in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner. • Ensure proper handling of all forms of tender and coupons. • Ensure accurate handling of all voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges. • Assist with customer questions or requests. • Assist with front-end maintenance and cleaning.
Job Requirements:
• Equipment operation: scanner, register, check, approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc. • Ability to stand for long periods of time. • Memorization, reading, writing, and math. • The position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service. • Good judgment is required for this position, as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available. • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write, identify information, request supplies, verbally or in writing. • Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Must be 18 years of age and older.
Physical Requirements:
• Lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs. • Walking on uneven ground. • Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions.
Schedule:
• Varied weekly shifts between 10pm-6am

Sales Positions Only:
For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associates first year. UNFI offers an introductory period of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFIs commission plans are uncapped, and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved among other factors.
