Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part Time Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Newtown Veterinary Specialists. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff and will work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Director.
Newtown Veterinary Specialists (NVS) in Newtown, Connecticut is a multidisciplinary small animal referral and emergency hospital. Our team of specialists includes surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology, behavior, and emergency/critical care. Our facility is housed in a 15,000 state of the art square foot building and offers a wide range of diagnostics. Our team recognizes the need for work-life integration and as a practice we are continually adjusting our approach to ensure a positive work experience. With a supportive team of receptionists, veterinary assistants, licensed veterinary technicians and kennel staff, our staff and doctors can maintain a balance of high-quality medicine and rewarding personal lives.
