Part-Time Packing & Organizing Team Member – Hiring Now

Are you organized, dependable, compassionate, and comfortable with hands-on work? Caring Transitions of Essex is seeking motivated Part-time Team Members to assist with senior relocations, downsizing, packing, estate clean-outs, and online auction projects.

Every project is different. You may spend one day helping a senior prepare for a move and another organizing a home or preparing unique items for an online estate sale. This is meaningful, active work for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and helping people.

What You’ll Do

• Sort and organize household belongings for resale, donation, relocation, or disposal
• Pack, label, unpack, and help resettle clients in their new homes
• Organize, photograph, research, and prepare items for CTBids online auctions
• Assist with auction pickup days and estate clean-outs
• Maintain organized and safe client workspaces
• Follow project instructions and company procedures
• Work collaboratively with Team Leads and other Team Members

What We’re Looking For

• Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
• Compassionate and respectful when working with seniors and families
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and basic technology
• Able to work in cluttered, dusty, or warm environments when necessary
• Able to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift  30+ lbs 
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to local project sites
• Interest or experience in antiques, collectibles, resale, packing, organizing, or senior services is a plus

What We Offer

• $18–$20/hour starting pay
• Flexible, part-time scheduling based on project needs
• Typical shifts between 9am - 3pm 
• Some weekend availability required
