POSITION SUMMARY:
InquisIT is seeking a part-time Palo Alto Firewall Engineer to support and maintain secure network and firewall operations for customer cloud, data center, and on-premise environments in Washington, DC.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls, creating and maintaining firewall policies and rule sets, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, and supporting secure enterprise network operations.
This role will initially require on-site support in Washington, DC for approximately the first 60 days for onboarding, knowledge transfer, and environment familiarization. Following this period, the position is expected to transition primarily to remote support with occasional on-site requirements as needed.
This is a part-time role of about 20 hours per week on-site initially then moving to 5-10 hours a week based on operational requirements and needs. Once the hours reduce, the role will be primarily remote.
