Part- Time: Patient Service Representative – Outpatient Urology Clinic

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Patient Service Representative to join our busy outpatient urology practice. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting daily front office operations.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM- 3 days a week (Monday, Tues, Friday)

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in/check out patients in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays
• Maintain accurate patient demographics and medical records in the EMR system
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and medical records as needed
• Assist with patient questions and provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth office workflow

Qualifications

• Previous medical front desk, healthcare receptionist, or patient service experience preferred
• Experience in a specialty practice or urology setting is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
