Part Time Personal Care Attendant (PCA) (10 Hours per week)Starkloff Disability InstituteLocation: St. Louis, MOPay: $20.00 per hourPosition Type: Part-TimeSchedule: 10hrs per week.  M-F 11-1pmReports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Make a Difference Every DayStarkloff Disability Institute (SDI) is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Attendants (PCAs). In this role, you will provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live more independently and participate fully in their communities.If you enjoy helping others, building meaningful relationships, and making a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoAs a Personal Care Attendant, you will:Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, dressing, eating, and mobility support.Support individuals in accessing community activities, educational opportunities, employment-related programs, and appointments.Encourage independence while providing the level of assistance each individual needs.Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.Follow individualized support plans and organizational policies.Communicate effectively with participants, caregivers, and SDI staff.Complete required documentation and report concerns as appropriate.Serve as a positive and professional representative of Starkloff Disability Institute.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable transportation.Ability to pass a background screening.Preferred QualificationsExperience as a caregiver, PCA, Direct Support Professional (DSP), CNA, or in a related role.Experience supporting individuals with disabilities.CPR and First Aid certification.Why Join Starkloff Disability Institute?Meaningful work that directly impacts people's lives.Flexible part-time opportunities.Supportive and mission-driven team environment.Valuable experience in disability services and community support.Opportunity to help individuals achieve greater independence and self-determination.Compensation$20.00 per hourAbout Starkloff Disability InstituteStarkloff Disability Institute works to advance disability inclusion and economic empowerment through innovative programs, community engagement, and workforce development initiatives.
