Focal Point Medical Staffing is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and mature-minded companion for a private-duty assignment with a 78-year-old female in Wilson, NC.

The client is independent with all activities of daily living. This is a nonmedical companionship position and does not require hands-on personal care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation

• Perform light housekeeping

• Accompany and transport the client to medical appointments, hair appointments, errands, and social outings

• Dine outside the home with the client

• Help the client remain socially active and engaged

Position Details:

• Approximately 15 hours per week

• Part-time, limited-hour schedule

• Pay rate: $20 per hour

• Location: Wilson, NC

• Private-duty assignment

• Final candidates will interview with the client’s family, who will make the final selection

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Dependable transportation

• Ability to pass a criminal background check

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening

• Dependable, patient, personable, and respectful

• Comfortable transporting the client within the community

• Enjoys working with and providing companionship to older adults

• Able to complete all Focal Point Medical Staffing screening and onboarding requirements
