Job Responsibilities
Serves as the Technical Director for rental events, supervising and/or performing the functions of audio visual, video, stage, and other production elements according to rental agreements.
Oversees and assists with load-in and set-up of all technical and stage equipment for rental events.
Remains onsite following rental events until renters have removed all equipment and vacated the facility.
Utilizes best practices for meeting production requirements while ensuring safety and staying within budget limitations and for the purpose of providing technical arts training for Pike students.
Operates specialized control programs for theatrical lighting instruments, analog and digital sound reproductions systems, counterweight fly rail system lifts, and a variety of power tools (e.g., table band radial arm and compound miter saws drills grinders ensuring safe operation.
Maintains inventory and reporting of equipment usage for each event.
Supervises and monitors the work of contracted staff and student assistants for the purpose of providing technical education in a safe environment.
PPAC Production Assistant will be evaluated by the PPAC Technical Director or PPAC Coordinator.

Part-time hourly
Scheduled on a monthly basis
PPAC Front of House Assistant will report to and be evaluated by the PPAC Coordinator
