Department
KELLEY SCHOOL OF BUSINESS (BL-BUS-IUBLA)
Department Information
The Institute for Corporate Governance and Ethics (ICGE) is an interdisciplinary research center at Indiana Universitys Kelley School of Business. Our mission is to make research on corporate governance and ethics accessible and actionable for scholars, policymakers, business leaders, and students. Our work spans 6 areas: business and behavioral ethics, corporate law, corporate compliance, management, finance, and financial controls.
ICGE is a lean, fast-moving center with broad reach. In the past year, we hosted Jonathan Haidt and Jean Twenge for a campus-wide event, co-hosted a 2-day Corporate Governance and Compliance Roundtable with international law firm Gibson Dunn, and presented a monthly Speaker Series featuring leading scholars from Wharton, the London School of Economics, NYU, Yale, and other institutions. ICGE faculty and affiliates contribute to prominent public conversations, with appearances in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Forbes, and at the World Economic Forum. We are also home to Ethical Systems, a consortium of leading behavioral ethics researchers, and our network includes more than 70 faculty affiliates across 20 plus institutions worldwide. ICGE even has a YouTube channel.
