Description

This part-time position assists a Program Manager/Director in the coordination and management of program-related activities. Education and experience requirement contingent upon the specific program needs. Part-time Program Coordinators provide administrative and professional support to ensure program success. Specific duties are also based on program requirements and support needs.

This position pays $26.00/hour.

Essential Functions/Duties

• Coordinates with the Program Director and Program Specialist to manage program activities including classes and testing on weekends and during regular College closures (Winter/Spring Break, etc.).
• Ensures smooth execution of all program operations as leader on duty including registration, testing, technical troubleshooting, emergency procedures, instructor attendance, etc.
• Serves as a resource point person for questions while on shift.
• Collaborates with the director/manager to ensure program compliance and prepares necessary reports.
• Assists with other program functions as needed while on shift.

Working Conditions/Additional Information

• This position is a part-time on-campus position located at our Advanced Technology Center campus but will travel to event locations as necessary. (Remote/hybrid options are not available.)
• Weekend and evening work is required. (You may not have to work both days of the weekend every week.)
• Position may be required to work during College closures (such as winter/spring break and inclement weather closures).
• Reliable transportation is required for travel to campuses, centers, and community locations. Possession of a valid Florida's Driver's License is required (or must be eligible to obtain a Florida's license within 30 days).
• This position will require the ability to lift at least 20 lbs.

Required Education:

• Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college/university.

Required Experience:

• One year of experience in Contractor/General Safety is required.

Alternate Credentials:

• An Associates degree with 3 years of experience.

or

• A High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 5 years of experience.

Part-time workers are allowed to work a maximum of 25 hours per week.
