Description

Position Overview: The Comedy/Experiential Assistant assist the planning, administrative tasks, and running of Comedy and Experiential programming. Responsibilities: Comedy · Send contracts, check requests, and performer waivers, tracking final receipt and properly filing. · House Manage Comedy Shows working with volunteers and performers in a professional manner. · Maintain class and show schedules and venue location in Reserve and Outlook. · Maintain student database in Raisers Edge. · Aggregate and create show promotion materials for Improv House Teams working within deadlines and collaborating with ArtsQuest Marketing, Public Relations and Creative departments. · Schedule and attend all Comedy Committee meetings, maintaining meeting agendas and notes in appropriate SharePoint folder and communicate them to committee members in a timely and professional manner. Experiential · Assist Programming Coordinator in Vendor outreach, through phone calls and electronic methods. · Create contracts for Vendors and obtain appropriate insurance certificates and signed documents prior to event. · Lead event raffles and bingos which include: o Requesting cash float o Printing signage & tickets as specified by Small Games of Chance and Bingo rules and regulations. o Collecting prizes day-of, as necessary. o Collecting and processing materials post-event and providing financial information to the Finance team. o Contacting winners, as necessary. · Assist with research for new experiential opportunities at current events and new events. · Collaborate with Creative department of signage request for experiential events.
