The Psychiatric RN will provide a combination of direct client care and medication management/admiration services. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, clinically skilled and committed to supporting adults on their recovery journey.
Hiring a part-time RN
Responsibilities:
Clinical/Client management that will consist of 30% direct care and 70% of medication management and administrative.
Client appointments including taking vitals, giving injections, calling in prescriptions, symptom management and education
Assess nature of clients' situations by interviewing and reviewing personal history
Develop and execute medical individual treatment plans as needed
Determine appropriate milestones to gauge client progress
Communicate client updates to all relevant parties
Collaboration with medical director residential staff and other psychiatrists
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs
Maintain accurate client documentation
Qualifications:
RN in the state of Ohio.
Previous experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing required.
Compassionate professional, and client centered approach to care.
Experience working with adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred.
Ability to build rapport with clients
Ability to work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment.
Strong communication, organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid Driver's License & proof of current auto insurance.
