Location: Tanner, AL and surrounding Huntsville/Decatur area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM; 20 hours per week
Pay: $21–$24/hour, based on experience

Position Type: Part-time; remote administrative work with required local field recruiting/travel

Above Talent Entertainment Staffing, Inc. is seeking a dependable, people-focused Part-Time Recruiter / Field Recruiting Coordinator to support our growing staffing operations in the Tanner, Alabama area. This position combines remote recruiting with hands-on community outreach. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, is comfortable recruiting both online and in the community, and can independently help build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and recruit candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach
• Review resumes and conduct initial candidate phone screenings
• Distribute recruiting flyers at approved businesses, community centers, workforce agencies, and other appropriate locations
• Develop relationships with local workforce agencies and community organizations
• Attend and assist with local job fairs and hiring events
• Conduct grassroots/organic recruiting when additional candidates are needed
• Schedule candidates and coordinate interviews and onboarding activities
• Coordinate candidate background checks and drug screens
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Maintain regular communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Travel locally within the Tanner/Huntsville/Decatur area for recruiting activities and occasional client-site needs
• Communicate recruiting progress, pipeline activity, and hiring needs with Above Talent's Recruiting & Operations team
• Assist with meeting weekly recruiting and placement goals

Requirements:

• Must live in Tanner, Huntsville, Decatur, or the surrounding area
• Must have your own computer and reliable internet connection
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to travel locally as needed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable using email, social media, job boards, and computer systems
• Organized, dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
• Recruiting, staffing, HR, sales, or customer-service experience preferred but not required
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
