The Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development invites applicants to teach a non-credit Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Training course to adult learners at Bergen Community College and/or partner school district sites. This in-person course prepares students for entry-level roles in applied behavior analysis (ABA) settings and aligns with the requirements for Registered Behavior Technician certifi cation under the Behavior Analyst Certifi cation Board (BACB).
Courses are typically offered in the evenings and may be held either at the Paramus campus or at partnering school district locations. The instructor will deliver the approved curriculum, support students in developing foundational ABA skills, prepare them for RBT certification readiness, and provide ongoing supervision to RBT students in compliance with BACB standards. The instructor will coordinate course logistics with the Program Supervisor, develop or adapt instructional materials as needed, and complete all required administrative documentation.
POSITION SUMMARY

SPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field required.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience providing ABA services in applied settings. Experience providing supervision and oversight for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required.
Certifications: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, along with the 8-hour supervision training completion required.
Knowledge, Skills, and abilities: Strong knowledge of ABA principles, RBT task list competencies, BACB ethics, and supervision standards.
