We seek talented, caring, and capable people committed to supporting our students in their academic and social development.The ProcessApplicants will complete Saga's interview and vetting process. Candidates who are selected will join our National Tutor Pool, where they may be matched with remote part-time tutoring opportunities as they become available and align with their availability.Please note that joining the National Tutor Pool does not guarantee immediate placement but allows Saga to quickly connect qualified tutors with openings as they arise.How It WorksApplicants apply and interview with SagaSelected Tutors become a part of our National Tutor PoolSaga matches their tutor availability with district needs as they ariseWhat You'll DoWhen matched to an open tutoring assignment, Part-Time Math Tutors manage a small caseload of students and promote academic success by focusing intently on providing high-dosage, high-impact tutoring that includes daily individualized instruction to middle school or high school students during the school day for the 26/27 school year. During a typical school day, tutors will work remotely with students during multiple class periods, sometimes across multiple schools, and facilitate lessons using Saga Connect and/or platforms provided by the district. Tutors will implement math curriculum to foster academic success and help students reach their goals. In addition to offering academic support, tutors will act as advocates and mentors, building strong, meaningful relationships with their students.Provide math tutoring to your assigned caseload of students for multiple class periods utilizing Saga Connect and/or platforms utilized by the school districtPrepare for tutoring sessions using Saga Curriculum and/or curriculum resources provided by the school/districtManage the input and analysis of student data to differentiate math instruction for your students and adapt lessons or resources as needed and as directed by your manager and/or the school/districtCollaborate with your manager or designated teacher or school staff member to obtain necessary tutorial materials, alignment for lessons, and student notesNavigate varying technology, both hardware, and software, and troubleshoot technical issues as they ariseProactively check and respond to emails to meet necessary deliverables on timeOther duties as assignedWhat We'll Use To Measure SuccessMission Alignment - You recognize challenges in education and demonstrate a commitment to continuous growth and improvementBeing Resilient - You rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult decisionsNimble Learning - You use both successes and failures to actively learn new lessonsDemonstrates Self-Awareness - You use feedback and reflection to gain productive insightValues Differences - You recognize the value of different perspectives and culturesStakeholder Focus - You value student advocacy and build strong student relationshipsQualificationsYou are authorized to work in the United States and reside within the U.S. (50 states) during the background screening, onboarding processes, and while you work as a Tutor with Saga.
