Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

• Valid OT License

Certifications Requirements:

• OT License

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting
• Skills required: experience working with K-4 and 5/6 students, specific to school-based occupational therapy

Other Requirements:

• Must have OT license
• Flexibility for schedule (preferred days: Tuesday or Thursday weekly)
• Ability to work 4-10 hours shifts, days shifts preferred
• Strong communication and consultation skills for working with students and staff
• Background check and compliance with facility policies

Job Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students at Walnut Trails Elementary School and Minooka Intermediate School.
• Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Consult with teachers and staff on student needs and accommodations.
• Implement therapy interventions to improve student developmental and functional skills.
• Document progress and communicate effectively with student families and staff.
