Introduction
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Part-Time Server & Bartender to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will provide exceptional dining and bar service by taking food and beverage orders, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring every guest has an outstanding experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication and customer service skills, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide exceptional customer service from arrival to departure.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately while making menu and drink recommendations.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Process credit card transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked dining room and bar area, including washing glassware, dishes, utensils, and restocking supplies.
- Set and clear tables and complete opening, closing, and side work duties.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and management to ensure efficient service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a server, bartender, or in a similar hospitality role preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds for extended periods.
- Must meet all state requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
