Part Time Sunday, 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday and Tuesday 3:30pom-7:30pm

Part Time: Wednesday-Saturday 3:30pm-7:30pm

The Server/Nutrition Services Diet Aide is responsible for meal tray set-up and the preparation/portioning of therapeutic diets for the skilled nursing tray line in accordance with physician orders and posted therapeutic diet menus. Assists with the set-up of the assisted living restaurant style dining room prior to meal service and takes resident meal orders in a courteous manner.

What you will bring:

Strong desire to work with and have empathy for the elderly. Excellent customer service and listening skills. Be reliable, organized and a team player. Food handler card (obtainable through community) Six months experience as a diet aide or diet clerk in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required. Will train on-the-job. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to understand measurements and conversions. Ability to interpret standardized recipes, instructions, specifications and standards. Ability to plan and organize work, set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards.
