ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Manage walk in traffic; open doors while guests are being greeted in a friendly and courteousmanner.
Accompany guests that need assistance with luggage to or fromroom.
Explain all hotel facilities, their location in the hotel, hours of operation, and answer all questions about these facilities and any other hotelquestions.
Check luggage for hotel guests both for day andovernight.
Maintain the designated stations in the lobby, standing alert to be easily summoned forfronts.
Maintain the cleanliness of the bell stand, lobby and baggage room. Keep lobby door and windows clean when not busy withguests.
Post the daily events board and entertainment board in thelobby.
Maintain an open communication line through all shifts by proper use of interdepartmental shiftlog.
Deliver messages and valet to guestrooms.
Performpick-upsanddrop-offsattheairportfortheguestsinatimely,friendlyandprofessional mannerandinspect vehicles.
Perform the duties of avalet.
Assist front desk with key inventory twiceweekly.
