Job Title: Part-Time / Side Job Medical Officer

Reporting To: Lead Physician / Medical Director
Employment Type: Part-time / Contract / Per Diem

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified medical professional to provide clinical or advisory services on a flexible schedule. The role is ideal for doctors looking for supplementary income, work-life balance, or experience in non-traditional medical settings.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical (if applicable)

  • Conduct patient consultations (in-person or telemedicine) for minor ailments, preventive health checks, or follow-ups.

  • Administer vaccinations, injections, or IV infusions as per protocol.

  • Review and interpret lab reports, vital signs, and patient histories.

  • Prescribe medications within legal and ethical guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).

Non-Clinical / Advisory (if applicable)

  • Review medical documents for insurance claims, disability assessments, or corporate wellness reports.

  • Provide expert opinion on health queries for legal cases (medico-legal).

  • Supervise first-aid rooms at events, hotels, or factories during shifts.

  • Assist in clinical audits, protocol development, or medical content creation.

General

  • Follow infection control, patient privacy (HIPAA/GDPR), and professional standards.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, or corporate clients.

  • Attend brief orientation/training for specific job processes.
