Part-time Sign Language Interpreter

Elmwood-Murdock Public Schools is seeking a qualified and compassionate Sign Language Interpreter to support deaf and hard of hearing students in our elementary school setting. This position plays a vital role in ensuring students have full access to instruction, communication, and school activities throughout the day. The ideal candidate is student-centered, collaborative, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Elmwood-Murdock is conveniently located about 30 minutes southwest of the Omaha metro area and 30 minutes east of Lincoln.

Additional Information

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language
  • Interpreter certification or state licensure
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
