The ideal candidate will build strong K-12 connections with a focus on SCC's service-area school districts in St. Charles, Warren, Lincoln, Pike, Montgomery, and Callaway counties, and be knowledgeable about biotechnology and/or STEM fields in general.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Maintain database of science educators across MissouriAttend PLTW showcases, science fairs, and other STEM-related or industry-aligned eventsAssist with dissemination of information about SCC's biotechnology program, careers, jobs, and SCC resources to teachers and studentsMaintain communication with Advisory Board members, particularly K-12 partnersProvide logistical support for field trips, networking events, and panel discussionsProvide logistical support for educator-training workshopsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAssociate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.Reporting RelationshipExecutive Director, Outreach and School RelationsNote: Will be subject to a criminal background check.St Charles Community College is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
