About the Role:

HARC is seeking a motivated college student (sophomore or junior standing preferred) to join our Finance/Business Operations team in a part-time role with strong potential for long-term growth. This position is designed to build real-world accounting and finance experience over multiple years, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as the team evolves.

What You'll Do:

  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements against receipts and supporting documentation
  • Route invoices and reconciliations through HARC's accounts payable approval workflow
  • Assist with organizing and filing financial documentation
  • Support the Finance team with other administrative and data-entry tasks as needed
  • Learn HARC's internal financial systems and processes over time, with increasing responsibility

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior at a college or university (accounting, finance, or business major preferred, but not required)
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers and documentation
  • Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines
  • Basic proficiency with Excel; willingness to learn new software systems
  • Good communication skills and a professional, can-do attitude
  • Available to work consistently during the academic year (with flexibility around exams/breaks)

Why HARC:

This role offers hands-on exposure to nonprofit finance and grant-funded accounting operations, mentorship from experienced finance staff, and a genuine path toward a full-time position for the right candidate as they progress through school and beyond.
