Schedule:Sundays 8AM-5:30PM. Saturdays as backup and when needed.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate: $16.94 - $18.00 per hour (DOE)
- Sunday hours, with additional Saturday hours as back up and as needed, allowing flexibility outside of work

APEXInternationalEducationPartnersisseekinga reliable,dedicatedandcustomer- serviceorientedPart-time, Sunday ReceptionistforourOfficeofResidentialLife.Thisindividual willprovide courteous,continuous, readily available,on-hand supportthroughout the day for our international high-school students living in the dormitory in Derby, CT.
Role&Responsibilities
Serves to assist student residents, staff and visitors by being an available, in-person, knowledgeableresource, answeringquestions,addressingissues,and/ordirecting studentstoappropriatestaffpersonnelforfollowup.Provideslightadministrativeand operational support and assistance.
- Opensallcommonareadoors(DiningRoom,Gym,Recreation Room,and Residential Life Office) promptly at
- Monitors student and visitor departures and arrivals from the main entrance reception desk and ensures proper student sign-out/in procedures.
- GreetsandwelcomesnewstudentDirectsnewstudentarrivalstoon-site Residential Life Coordinator.
- Greets,welcomesanddirectsvisitorsappropriately–notifyingstaffpersonnel via WeChatof visitor's
- As part of the Residential Life Office Team, be available at all times and be ready to respond immediatelyifastudentor on/off-site APEXstaffmemberhasadormitory-relatedquestionor issue that needs addressing via WeChat, phone call, email or text
- Whencontacted,visitthestudent,in-person,toassessandaddresstheissue and/or contact the appropriate APEX staff member (Residential Life Coordinator, Driver, Maintenance, ) to assist or intervene based on the need.
- Collects and distributesmail/packagesfromthefrontlobby into mailroom.
- Assists with short student transportation runs in a company vehicle on an as-needed backup basis.
Qualifications
- Officeadministrationexperience
- Musthaveaprofessional, pleasantandapproachable demeanor.
- Must have a valid driver's license, 3+ years of driving experience, and a clean driving record.
