Ray Range: $30.00 - $40.00 / Hourly. The posted salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position at the time of posting and is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual starting pay will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location (where applicable), and market considerations. Not all candidates will be hired at the top of the posted range. The posted range reflects base salary only and does not include any applicable bonuses, commissions, overtime, or the value of employee benefits. Eligible employees may participate in the Company's benefit programs, subject to the terms and eligibility requirements of each plan.

Job Summary: Suppression technicians are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service with tasks related to the installation, modification, inspection, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of Fire Suppression Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and maintain a variety of fire suppression systems, including clean agent systems, dry chemical, CO2, foam and other special hazards fire protection applications.
  • Perform testing of suppression system components, including alarms, pressure gauges, and release mechanisms.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain the condition of their fire suppression systems, discussing necessary maintenance or repairs.
  • Providing emergency service to investigate and diagnose alarm and trouble conditions to determine cause and take corrective action in order to bring system back to a normal working condition.
  • Maintaining accurate and precise documentation of all work orders daily, including thorough and timely inspection reports with signature from customer submitted to inspection manager.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment with strict attention to all safety requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
