Part Time teacher for children with Autism

Work Hours: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Instructors to work with our students, aged 5-20. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the students’ educational and developmental needs during the extended day hours, Monday through Thursday. This position is essential in helping students achieve their individual goals through structured and nurturing guidance.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide support and instruction to students with autism in a small group or one-on-one setting
- Review behavior plans, educational goals, and related services goals
- Assist with individualized learning plans, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of each student
- Promote positive behavior and social skills development
- Collaborate with other staff and therapists to provide a consistent and supportive learning environment

**Qualifications:**
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism (experience with ABA is a plus)
- Ability to engage with and support children and young adults with varying needs and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Pay Rate: $35/hour
