Description: Benefits Description Summary: To perform general maintenance duties to include, but limited to, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical in student apartments during the summer up to 37.5 hours per week.
Examples of Duties: General Maintenance & Repairs Perform routine inspections and maintenance of dorm buildings, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Repair or replace broken fixtures, furniture, and appliances (e.g., lights, door handles, sinks, stoves, etc.). Respond to maintenance requests from students and staff in a timely manner.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to perform maintenance tasks independently. Previous experience preferred. Part-time employees who meet IPERS eligibility requirements will be offered this benefit.
