Reporting to the Coordinator of Tutoring and the Dean of Teaching and Learning Support, the Tutor helps students understand key concepts, develop study skills, and become independent learners.
Responsibilities include maintaining session records, collaborating with faculty and students, offering constructive feedback, and contributing to the development of tutoring materials.
Qualifications include a completed degree or coursework in chemistry with a B grade or higher, subject matter expertise, and experience working with diverse students.
Preferred qualifications include higher education tutoring experience, familiarity with online meeting technology, and community college context.
