Doc-Side Veterinary Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland is hiring a
veterinarian experienced in soft tissue surgery and dentistry to join our compassionate and collaborative team. This is an ideal opportunity for a small animal veterinarian who enjoys performing general surgeries and dental procedures and is interested in leadership growth within a well-established, Fear Free certified practice.
Located in the heart of historic Fells Point, our 4-doctor small animal and exotics practice has proudly served the Baltimore community since 1999. Doc-Side features 5 exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, and advanced diagnostic and dental equipment to support a heavy surgical caseload. We care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets and emphasize high-quality, client-centered medicine in a calm and supportive environment.
What You’ll Do as a Veterinarian:
- Perform a wide range of general soft tissue surgeries: spays/neuters, mass removals, foreign body surgeries, etc.
- Provide dental care and oral surgery, supported by intraoral radiology, experienced staff, and plenty of hands-on training
- Deliver gold-standard preventive care and medical treatment in a Fear Free environment.
- Collaborate with a skilled team of veterinarians with special interests in internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and preventive care.
- Mentor and grow with the support of experienced doctors and leadership development opportunities.

Veterinarian Requirements:
- DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland
- 2+ years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery preferred
- Strong surgical and dental skills
- Passion for teamwork, mentorship, and delivering excellent patient care

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and relevant credentials with an annual base salary range of $110,000 - $160,000 for full-time employment. Base salary is prorated based on part-time hours.
