GENERAL INFORMATION
The J.D. Power Center for Liberal Arts in the World at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position to teach one course during the fall semester to begin in August 2026 with the possibility of continuing into the spring semester (based upon performance and enrollment). The course is offered through the College’s Academic Internship Program. Enrolled students will complete internships of 8–10 hours per week in health care–related roles. The successful candidate will have a professional background in health care and the ability to lead students in connecting their internship experiences with relevant academic content through thoughtful reflection and discussion. There are no employee benefits associated with this part-time visiting faculty appointment. Compensation for teaching one course in the fall semester is $8,000.
The College will not support H-1B visa applications that require the $100,000 employer fee.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching and inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
