Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Cook to join Poindexter at Graduate Bloomington and its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains high sanitation standards throughout the area ofresponsibility
- Ensures organized and clean storage areas for allfood
- Ensuresthat all food items are properly handled and stored at the conclusion of the shift
- Properly rotatesinventory
- Prepares food according to specifications for breakfast, lunch, dinner andbanquets
- Maintains clean and orderly storage areas and productpars
- Work with manager to create specials and other menuvariations
- Other duties asassigned by managment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous cook experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of food preparation health and safetyguidelines
- Able to work flexible hours andshifts
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and inwriting
- Teamplayer
- Ability to exceed expectations ofguests
- Ability tomulti-task
