We are seeking an experienced Permanent Partner Attorney to join our dynamic and fast-growing Legal team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financing, leasing, development, and disposition of commercial, industrial, retail, and mixed-use properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land use, zoning, and real estate development, as well as a proven track record of success in managing and growing a book of business.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on a broad range of real estate matters, including commercial and residential real estate transactions, land use, zoning, and real estate development.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements (PSAs), leases, construction contracts, easements, and title reviews.
  • Represent clients in the acquisition, financing, leasing, development, and disposition of a variety of property types, including mixed-use, affordable housing, shopping centers, office parks, retail, and industrial properties.
  • Develop and maintain a strong book of business and contribute to the firm's business development efforts.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare legal documents in a clear and concise manner.
  • Represent the firm in litigation matters as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be admitted to the bar in Massachusetts.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Partner Attorney or Senior Real Estate Attorney.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial real estate, land use, zoning, and real estate development.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements (PSAs), leases, construction contracts, easements, and title reviews.
  • Experience with a variety of property types, including mixed-use, affordable housing, shopping centers, office parks, retail, and industrial properties.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow a book of business.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong litigation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues and provide practical legal advice.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
