Partner Development DirectorEverlaw is seeking a Partner Development Director to spearhead the company's strategic partner business expansion in the legal tech services industry. In this role, you will lead the strategy and drive the development of the full range of Everlaw's channel partners including MSPs (managed service providers), global advisories, ALSPs (alternative legal service providers), legal solutions partners, and tiered distributors. You will be a key architect in building Everlaw's system for scaling its channel business. The successful candidate will bring business‑building expertise and extensive partner‑led business development experience to develop and negotiate new partnership models, create new joint partner businesses, and incubate Everlaw's international expansion strategy.ResponsibilitiesLead Channel Partnership Strategy: develop Everlaw's overall strategy for expanding Everlaw's channel and services partner business; create and own the recruitment and development plan for new channel partners; develop and bootstrap partnership‑led strategy to expand into new international markets and new business segments.Own Channel Partner Recruitment & Development: identify and recruit new strategic channel partners; structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial partner deals and first‑of‑kind partnership agreements; engage in business development efforts with new partners to develop joint partnership plans, acquire strategic joint customers, and build Everlaw's footprint in the legal tech industry by partner‑led adoption of Everlaw's products; achieve defined partner activation metrics and transition management of partners to Everlaw's partner management team.Lead & Evangelize: serve as Everlaw's thought leader on our partner channel business; advise Everlaw's partner ecosystem on incorporation of Everlaw and Everlaw AI Assistant into their services practice by developing joint solutions, incorporating Everlaw into customer workflows, and collaborating with implementation teams; represent Everlaw at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to grow new partnerships.Drive Cross‑Functional Collaboration: collaborate with sales, enablement, and partner management to align partnership strategy with revenue growth plans; partner with sales teams to drive co‑selling engagements; work closely with Product and Engineering to define integration requirements and ensure successful development and launch of new integrations; collaborate with legal to lead complex negotiations with potential partners and craft mutually beneficial agreements.QualificationsAt least 10 years of relevant experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or legal tech at a SaaS or technology company, including any related post‑graduate work (e.g., MBA, MS). At least 5 years of experience creating and developing tech channel partnerships with services‑focused partners.Deep knowledge of channel and service provider ecosystems; ability to lead teams to design and grow channel partner ecosystems, including SaaS channel and enterprise solutions partnerships; proven success closing high‑impact step‑function strategic partnerships that unlock new business opportunities.Excellent business acumen and structured deal‑maker; breadth and depth of expertise in analyzing business strategy, deal structures, and joint business plans; ability to structure, negotiate, and close impactful partnership deals.Experience developing and managing complex partnering relationships, establishing multifaceted relationships across partner organizations to drive deep and enduring joint business value.Grow impactful partnerships; thrive on building and growing partnerships, capabilities, and joint businesses; apply tactical experience and strategic vision to drive partnership‑enabled product capabilities.Authorized to work in the United States.
