Purpose & Scope


The Partner, Field Analytics & Sales Force Effectiveness is responsible for supporting analytics and performance measurement capabilities that enable insight driven field execution and continuous sales force optimization. Reporting to the Lead, Sales Operations, this role partners closely with Field Analytics, CRM, Strategic Platforms, and Field Leadership to ensure analytic outputs are accurate, actionable, and aligned with commercial objectives.


This role plays a critical executional role in translating business questions into meaningful analytics, supporting sales force effectiveness initiatives, and ensuring field stakeholders have access to consistent insights that drive performance improvement.


Role and Responsibilities


_Field Analytics and Insight Support_


+ Support the development and delivery of standard and ad hoc field analytics related to performance, execution, coverage, and sales force effectiveness.

+ Translate business questions into analytic requirements, metrics, and outputs in partnership with Field Analytics teams.

+ Support testing, validation, and deployment of analytics updates and enhancements.

+ Build and / or optimize data environments to automate insight generation that enables field leadership decision-making to achieve brand objectives

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable and timely delivery of claims data and other critical data requests.


_Sales Force Effectiveness Enablement_


+ Partner with Sales Operations and Field Leadership to support initiatives focused on productivity, coverage optimization, and execution effectiveness.

+ Assist in analyzing field performance trends, identifying opportunities, and supporting data driven recommendations.

+ Support alignment between analytics outputs and downstream planning, CRM, and reporting solutions.

+ Drive automation of Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) KPIs to deliver timely and actionable insights.

+ Identify and report execution gaps and opportunities to drive field excellence.


_Data Quality, Governance, and Consistency_


+ Support data quality checks and issue resolution related to field analytics and performance metrics.

+ Assist in ensuring analytics outputs align with approved business definitions, assumptions, and governance standards.

+ Contribute to documentation related to metrics, methodologies, and recurring analytics processes.


_Stakeholder and Cross Functional Collaboration_


+ Serve as a point of contact for field and business stakeholders regarding analytics questions and insights.

+ Partner with CRM, Strategic Platforms, and IT teams to ensure analytic requirements are reflected accurately across systems.

+ Support the Lead, Sales Operations on broader sales force effectiveness initiatives and cross functional efforts.


Required Qualifications


+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 4–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech commercial operations, field analytics, sales operations, or sales force effectiveness.

+ Experience supporting field performance analytics and sales force effectiveness initiatives in a regulated environment.

+ Working knowledge of field analytics, performance metrics, and sales force effectiveness concepts.

+ Experience partnering with analytics, CRM, and commercial systems teams to deliver insights.

+ Familiarity with data governance, validation, and compliance considerations related to analytics outputs.

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.

+ Clear communicator, able to translate data and insights into business relevant takeaways.

+ Execution focused, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple analytics priorities.

This position is based in Northbrook, Illinois.

Salary Range


$125,090 – $178,700 (Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and organizational equity considerations)
