Partner Level Attorney – Houston (140b)

Expanding national boutique defense firm practicing in the areas of financial services, risk management, bankruptcy and commercial litigation is looking for a partner level attorney to join their team.The position is based out of the firm’s Houston, TX office.Candidates for this position must have 10-15 years of experience. The firm is open to hiring candidates with experiences and practices in any of the following areas:

·commercial litigation

·banking, commercial or consumer finance or fintech

·corporate and transactional law

·federal or state administrative law

Ideal candidates will have a demonstrable portable book of business of at least $350,000 and have a burning desire to expand this practice. The firm actively invests in its attorneys in providing them the guidance, financial support, and freedom to grow their practices. This position allows the successful candidate to work with talented professionals while charting their own path to develop and mutually expand the firm’s footprint.

Qualifications:

·Must have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in their given practice area

·Must be a Texas licensed attorney in good standing with Texas Bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history

·Must have outstanding academic credentials

·Must be a self-starter driven by long-term career goals

·Must have superior oral and written advocacy skills

·Must be team oriented
