Description Amazon Ads is looking for an experienced solution architect to join its global solutions architecture team advising ISVs (AdTech, MartTech and analytics), diverse range of digital advertising agencies as well as large customers who have invested in API-based advertising solutions. As trusted partners and customer advocates, our solutions architects advise organizations on how to develop advanced cloud-based solutions and prioritize their ad tech roadmap. You will have the opportunity to build mindshare and broad use of Amazon ad tech including Amazon Marketing Cloud within the digital advertising community. You should also have a demonstrated ability to provide critical support to address business, products, and technical challenges. You will be partnering with other teams within Ads and AWS such as product, business development, service teams, marketing, and sales, prioritizing your initiatives and aligning goals to maximize long term value. Key job responsibilities - Build and maintain relationships with tech leaders across ad agencies, SaaS providers and large customers to promote awareness of Amazon Ads ad tech. - Build relationships with partners and customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads/solutions that support digital advertising and marketing transformations. Hands-on solution architect with strong REST API and SDK development skills to build and scale solutions with partners - Support Global leaders who own achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption of ad products, applications, software, and services, in partnership with business development. -Serve as key business partner to educate customers on the value proposition of Amazon ad tech and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment. - Build strong relationships with internal product teams to ensure alignment of the product roadmap, vision, and strategy to fully take advantage of future changes and new markets. - Support the education and training of partners on the positioning of Amazon Ads and contribute to industry thought leadership. Collaborate with key stakeholders internally to ensure we bring back customer feedback and increase the efficiency by improving self service capabilities of advertising products Basic Qualifications - 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 3+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience - Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership - 3+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience - Experience in online or digital advertising - 1+ years of analytical and quantitative skills experience demonstrating the ability to use data and metrics to back-up assumptions, make recommendations, and drive actionsc Preferred Qualifications - Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting - Experience working with end user or developer communities - Experience working directly in customer implementations - 2+ years of communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences experience - 2+ years of leadership experience with business reviews and adapting to work to business review outcomes Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
