If you're passionate about using technology to improve human life, this is where your work truly mattersWhat you will accomplish in this roleThe Partnership Lead is a key member of the Partnership Operations team and is responsible for driving value across Digital Transformation and Innovation (DT&I) initiatives through strategic external and internal partnerships. This role owns the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including partner identification, evaluation, negotiation, onboarding, account management, relationship growth, and ongoing performance optimization.In collaboration with DT&I leaders, the Partnership Lead ensures the partner portfolio is strategically aligned, appropriately prioritized, and positioned to accelerate innovation, support enterprise objectives, and deliver measurable value. Reporting within Partnership Operations, with partner assignments and program leadership, this role serves as a primary point of contact for strategic partners and acts as a catalytic agent in advancing high-priority DT&I partnerships.The Partnership Lead is a critical driver of the DT&I ecosystem's success, helping strengthen partner engagement, enable strategic collaboration, and support the execution of innovation priorities. In addition to partnership responsibilities, this role manages market intelligence analytics products with support from Intelligence Analysts, helping translate external insights, partner intelligence, and market trends into actionable strategies for DT&I leadership.What you will do in this role:End-to-End Partnership Management: Own and manage the full partnership lifecycle. This includes leading partnership strategy and shepherding each assigned partner through the seven-phase lifecycle and four stage gates (Qualify, Commit, Clear, Launch) of the Partnership Operations Model, maintaining the partnership's state end to end in the Partnership Onboarding Tracker (the system of record).Strategic Account Management: Serve as the primary account manager for a portfolio of established partners, fostering strong relationships to ensure long-term success, value realization, and mutual growth. Responsibilities include monitoring vendor performance against KPIs, partnering with the Value Tracking team on benefits realization against the pre-launch baseline, supporting regular business reviews, managing partner escalations, tracking contractual and service-level commitments, identifying risks or performance gaps, and surfacing opportunities for expansion, optimization, or broader adoption.Performance & Pipeline Tracking: Maintain the Partnership Onboarding Tracker as the working system of record to ensure accurate visibility into the partner pipeline, onboarding progress, portfolio status, and performance of existing partnerships. Responsibilities include keeping partner data current, tracking key milestones, risks, decisions, and next steps, and ensuring portfolio updates flow into persona-based leadership reporting, including COO one-pagers, VP persona slides, and function-specific digests. Provide regular insights, alerts, and recommendations on key metrics, risks, opportunities, and partner performance trends to support stakeholder alignment and informed decision-making.Framework & Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Partnership Operations leadership team to continuously refine and apply the Partnership Operations Model living documents: the Charter, the prioritization and inclusion/exclusion scoring rubric, the intake process, and the Partnership Lead best practices and talk tracks, to ensure a streamlined and effective process.Partner Monitoring and Governance: In collaboration with the Partnership Operations leadership team, manage monitoring and re-evaluation for all partnerships post-launch, aligning performance tracking with the Partnership Operations Model gates and Phase 6 steady-state governance, including renewal and expiration monitoring two quarters out via the Tracker.New Partner Evaluation: Lead and manage evaluations of potential partners, including facilitating demos, coordinating internal stakeholder feedback, and providing strategic recommendations to leadership.Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends and emerging partners in the digital transformation and healthcare innovation space to identify new partnership opportunities and enhance existing relationships. Manage market/industry-focused Intelligence analytics products and dashboards with support from Intelligence Analyst for DT&I Leadership.Partnership Transitions: Manage the seamless transition of partnership responsibilities, either by retaining long-term ownership for strategic accounts or by handing off to other internal teams as defined by the partnership strategy.Partner Sourcing & Origination: Proactively source, unearth, and develop new partnership opportunities where collaboration with external partners can bring material value to DT&I's leadership and OKRs.
