Partnerships Project Manager

The Partnerships Project Manager role will center on building and scaling an efficient, data informed partner ecosystem with education and commercial partners. It includes responsibilities such as driving onboarding managing licensing and reporting processes, conducting Quarterly Business Reviews, and aligning internally with stakeholders. A strong candidate will demonstrate familiarity with partner invoicing, royalty payment workflows, and systems for tracking onboarding success and metrics. We are looking for someone who can integrate with internal teams to co-develop scalable systems, including operational frameworks and tooling depth (eg PowerBI, onboarding playbooks, partner tracking systems.)

The Partnerships Project Manager will drive onboarding and operational support for new external partners. They will work across organizational boundaries to plan, create and deliver reporting on external partners, create systems to improve operational processes, organize regular partner connections and reviews, and help to identify new opportunities. This is a critical role contributing to the success of our partners and help scale the ecosystem.

Partner Management:

• Provide on-going operational support to new external partners.
• Create and execute on-boarding and enablement plan for partners.
• Coordinate with internal teams on reviews and approvals.
• Continuously learn about partner needs and issues and provide feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate and manage quarterly business reviews with education and commercial partners, including managing logistics, attendees, agenda and follow-up items.

Partner Operations:

• Engage with external and internal partners to manage business operations and reporting for partnerships, including price discount requests, order summary, invoicing, royalty payments and monthly reports.
• Collaboration and communication with teams across Mojang and Microsoft may be required.

Partner Ecosystem Scale:

• Identify blockers to efficiency and points of friction in the way we identify, pilot and launch partnership opportunities, and suggest solutions and improvements.
• Create processes and assets to scale the partner ecosystem, with a focus on efficiency and scale.

Previous experience at Microsoft highly preferred.
