Description

Position Summary: The Parts to Service Associate plays a key role in supporting the service department by ensuring technicians have the correct marine parts, supplies, and equipment when needed. This position acts as the link between the parts inventory and service operations, helping maintain efficiency, accuracy, and timely repairs for boats and marine equipment.Key Responsibilities:Pull, stage, and deliver parts to service technicians based on work ordersMaintain organized and accurate parts inventory, including marine-specific componentsAssist with receiving, labeling, and stocking incoming parts and suppliesVerify part numbers and ensure correct items are issued for each jobCommunicate with service advisors and technicians regarding parts availability and delaysProcess returns, core credits, and warranty parts as neededKeep work areas clean, organized, and safeAssist with cycle counts and inventory auditsSupport parts ordering when inventory levels are lowEnsure timely movement of parts to avoid delays in service completionQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in parts, warehouse, or marine industry preferredBasic knowledge of marine engines, components, and boating systems is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentGood communication and teamwork skillsBasic computer skills for inventory systemsAbility to lift 50+ lbs and be on feet for extended periodsPreferred Skills:Familiarity with outboard/inboard engines and marine partsExperience with inventory or dealership management systemsMechanical aptitudeWork Environment:Combination of warehouse and shop environmentExposure to marine equipment, fluids, and varying weather conditionsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)Opportunities for growth within service or parts departmentsEmployee discounts on marine parts and servicesWHAT FOX MOTORS OFFERSPaid Vacation, PTO, and HolidaysMedical, Dental and Vision401(k) with Employer MatchFlex SpendingGroup Life Insurance (Company Paid)Short-Term and Long-Term DisabilitySupplemental Life InsuranceAccident InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramsEmployee DiscountsWellbeing ProgramGrowth and Development OpportunitiesAs a Top 150 Dealer Group, we are dedicated to bringing both our employees and customers only the best experience.
