Parts and Service Coordinator

Our client, an established distributor serving the LP/propane and natural gas industry, is seeking a Parts and Service Coordinator to join their team. This role is responsible for handling incoming customer calls, processing orders, and resolving customer inquiries with a focus on responsive, knowledgeable service. The ideal candidate brings industry-related experience and a genuine interest in continuously learning about propane and natural gas products and systems.

Job Responsibilities -

- Field incoming customer calls, providing accurate order assistance and information in a timely manner.

- Investigate and resolve customer concerns by identifying the issue, determining the root cause, and
coordinating an appropriate solution through to completion.

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support satisfaction and repeat business.

- Assist customers with product selection and basic troubleshooting for propane and natural gas
equipment and appliances.

- Generate invoices and related documentation as part of the order process.

- Support inventory and order fulfillment needs, including both phone and online order channels.

- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and account details.

- Take on additional tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements -

- Experience in the LP/propane, natural gas, or a related industry such as HVAC/plumbing is required.

- Prior experience in a customer service or order support role.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and manage time
effectively.

- Familiarity with propane system components (tanks, regulators, valves, fittings, hoses, connectors) and related appliances preferred.

- Technical experience and aptitude are preferred.
