The Parts Associate I is primarily responsible for warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, stocking, and parts look-up. This position performs general warehouse duties, such as loading and unloading trucks, making deliveries, and housekeeping in the warehouse. The Parts Associate I works closely with Lift Power technicians and assists with other Parts Department duties as needed.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Load and unload trucks at the docks; assist in putting up parts stock orders
Stage and process new tire pallet for pressing vendor – match hubs with new tires.
Check in received parts and ship requested parts to the appropriate location
Handle technician calls, walk up inquiries, email requests and inquiries
Check all parts order packages for quantity and visual confirmation
Properly handle vendor packing slips and PO receipts to ensure they are properly processed
Locate and pull parts for service, shop, and parts orders; stage orders as needed
Pull replenishment for consignment customers and technician vans and stage in lockers or for delivery
Check in cores and initiate returns to the correct vendor
Handle all paperwork and process steps associated with shipping and receiving
Keep warehouse cleaned and organized
Follow safety and warehouse policies and protocols; perform building inspection including checking fire extinguishers
Observe all safety procedures including safe vehicle operation and proper disposal of hazardous waste
Maintain inventory on stock associated with parts warehouse shipping and receiving
Assist with inventories on vans, consignments, and annual branches.
Assist with parts deliveries, customer assistance, and other Parts Department duties, as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Microsoft Office applications experience preferred
Mechanical ability preferred
Forklift experience preferred
