Parts Associate

KIMS AUTO BODY is an independent auto body shop serving the community since 1981. We strive in providing CUSTOMER FOCUSED solutions for our customer. Expectations:

To support Parts Department effectively and assist KAB team members

Education/Military Exp/Certification:

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Familiar with CCC One (a plus)
• I-CAR training (a plus)

Work Experience:

• Industry experience (preferred)
• Inventory or Warehouse Experience (a plus)

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift, move, or carry objects up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:

• English is a must, bilingual a plus
• Creative problem solving skills
• Task Oriented
• Detail oriented and organized
• Ability to follow process and procedures
• Able to multi task under time pressure
• Professional oral & written communication skills
• Team Player
• Ability to complete tasks under a high stress environment
• Computer proficiency

Training Expectations:

• Maintain a current resume on file in the employee training records
• Keep up to date with new industry standards and regulations
• Complete industry training within 1 year for professional growth

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage Supply Inventory (Body and Paint)
• Part Receiving and Returns
• Keep up to date with warranties, policies, and return procedures
• Communicating Parts Receiving schedules
• Pick up parts/supplies when needed
• Maintain clean and organized Parts Area
• Mirror Matching
• Identifying correct parts and hardware
• In house Inventory management
• Find and implement improvements in parts department
• Assist KAB Team members in any way needed
• Assist and work closely with Parts Manager & Production Manager in their daily tasks and long-term goals
• Implement & execute safety requirements
