Penmac Staffing is hiring a Parts Associate for a local manufacturing client in Springfield, MO. This is a part-time opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with inventory, supporting production teams, and maintaining accurate parts organization. The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to prioritize tasks, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Basic computer and inventory tracking skills preferred
- Previous warehouse, inventory, manufacturing, or parts experience is a plus
- Ability to lift, carry, and move parts and materials as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Fill production job orders accurately and efficiently, with production support as the top priority
- Process warranty orders and shop supply requests
- Receive and put away stock orders in designated locations
- Organize and maintain parts shelves and inventory storage areas
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
- Communicate inventory needs, shortages, and concerns with management and the Parts Manager
- Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support operations
Schedule and Pay
- Part-time
- Monday - Thursday, 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Starting pay: $17.00 per hour
