The Parts Buyer is responsible for procurement of aircraft parts, consumables, and repair services in support of maintenance and operational requirements. This position supports timely material acquisition, vendor coordination, inventory availability, and regulatory compliance while ensuring accurate documentation and cost-effective purchasing activities.
What you do
- Procurement of aircraft parts, components, consumables, and repair services to support operational and AOG requirements
- Review and processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders within ERP system
- Sourcing of materials from approved vendors based on pricing, availability, lead time, and operational urgency
- Coordination with Maintenance, Avionics, Warehouse, and other departments regarding material requirements and delivery timelines
- Monitoring of open purchase orders, vendor performance, and resolution of material discrepancies or documentation issues
- Maintenance of purchasing records and support of inventory planning, traceability, and regulatory compliance requirements
What you bring
- Ideal candidate has minimum 5 years of aviation purchasing, procurement, or materials management experience preferred
- Working knowledge of aircraft parts traceability, FAA documentation standards, and illustrated parts catalogs
- Experience supporting AOG operations and time-sensitive material sourcing activities preferred
- Strong computer proficiency and experience working within ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, communication, and vendor coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
What we offer
- 11 paid holidays a year, plus 15 days of paid vacation time, and 6 days of paid sick/personal time to start with an increase to 20 days of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus

- The pay rate for this position is $27.00- $31.00 per hour depending on experience. Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
