AF Collision is a trusted, locally-owned collision repair shop serving American Fork and the surrounding area. We’re dedicated to delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service. As our current Parts Coordinator is moving, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team and help keep our shop running smoothly.
Position Summary
The Parts Coordinator plays a key role in our day-to-day operations by managing the flow of parts in and out of the shop. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy with data entry, and a customer service mindset. Prior experience with auto parts or in a body shop environment is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
Order parts needed for repair jobs in a timely manner.
Receive, inspect, and distribute parts to technicians.
Enter invoices and maintain accurate records.
Handle return parts and ensure proper credits are captured.
Keep the parts room organized and perform regular audits.
Answer phones and provide professional customer service.
Assist estimators with walk-in customers as needed.
Support the team with additional shop duties as assigned.
Requirements
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a busy shop environment.
Previous experience with auto parts or in a collision/repair shop is a plus.
Basic computer skills (experience with shop management systems helpful).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player.
