Parts Coordinator

Position Overview:Provide excellent customer service and support to our distributor network by managing all aspects of supplying parts per their requirements.Duties & Responsibilities:Field all parts inquiries from distributors via phone, e-mail, and faxInteract with distributors to determine their part needsIdentify repair parts required by reviewing bill of materialsProvide quotes to distributors for parts related ordersMaintain parts pricingCoordinate printing of shipping paperwork for UPS/LTL shipmentsFollow up with Shipping on past due UPS/LTL shipmentsInteract with Engineering with product related questionsWork with Production Inventory Control and Purchasing to determine part availabilityProcess warranty related orders submitted from Product SupportExpedite orders when necessaryPosition Requirements:Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers as well as coworkers. Must have strong analytical reasoning and problem solving abilities. Need to be organized and able to prioritize workload to meet customer's expectations. Need to be a team player, self-starter, and able to make changes and improvements to do the job efficiently. Must be customer focused and able to work in a fast paced environment. Computer skills to include Excel, Word, and AS400.Physical/Mental Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Functions of the Position:Normal standing, walking and lifting in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting and telephone usage.
