Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Parts Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering and receiving parts, and ensuring accurate distribution to technicians and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers and technicians in locating and ordering parts.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and restocking.

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

• Prepare parts for delivery or pickup.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts area.

• Use computer systems to track inventory, process orders, and update records.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a parts department (automotive, heavy equipment, or similar industry) preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic computer literacy (experience with inventory software is a plus).

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to lift parts and work in a warehouse/shop environment.

American Bobtail, Inc. is a new and used medium duty truck dealership. Isuzu Trucks of Rockwall is what we operate the new truck sales, parts and service under. ABI Truck and Van Shelving is another division that upfits trucks and vans with shelving and accessories.

We have full parts, sales and service departments along with full body shop. We do custom fabrication such as flatbed and landscape bodies, wheelbase modifications and many other items.
