This position contributes successfully to our operations because they will:
Maintain accurate stock levels, part numbers, and locations within the CMMS.
Track and manage inventories; verify and report numbers .
Manually deduct all parts removed from stock from the previous 24 hours.
Generate and complete purchase order requests for parts to be ordered for company back stock.
Order parts on an emergency basis, when needed, in a timely manner
Retrieve and return equipment and/or parts from local vendors/companies in a safe and efficient manner.
Daily Physical Inventory via cycle counts .
Locate, unbox, verify content and receive parts into inventory
Receive new inventory:
Unbox, locate, receive / verify content, receive parts into inventory, process purchase orders.
Ship and receive parts & equipment.
Update company invoicing program on a daily basis
Complete self-monitoring report.
Manage/maintain and clean workspace ensure and safe and clean work environment
Generate reports for admin. As needed.
Support maintenance techs. On parts location.
Assist with parts or tools to rebuild equipment through external contractors on planned projects to be performed on a weekend.
Move heavy equipment with specialized machinery/forklift as needed. .
Process/Create purchase orders & Issue PO# as needed: Follow up with vendors or contractors for accuracy in pricing and availability
Assist with vendors and contractor walkthroughs.
Generate reports as needed.
Support maintenance techs with parts allocation when needed.
Data entry: New vendors and/or new parts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED is required.
A valid California driver’s license is required.
Minimum three (3) years of experience with exposure to part coordination/purchasing/ordering
The ability to obtain a forklift certification and operate a forklift is required.
The ability to work in an office setting involving, but not limited to sitting, standing, kneeling, etc. is required.
The ability to work in a cold storage warehouse and in all weather conditions such as rain and heat is required.
Hourly: $27.00-$28.00
Shift: Swing
