Parts Coordinator

About the Position

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Parts Coordinator to join our drilling operations team. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory, sourcing parts, coordinating with mechanics and field crews, and ensuring our equipment stays operational with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

- Order, receive, and stock parts for drilling rigs, trucks, and ancillary support equipment

- Maintain accurate inventory and maintenance records

- organize the parts warehouse

- Report directly to the shop manager

- Work closely with mechanics and field personnel to identify parts needs

- Source parts from vendors while balancing cost, quality, and availability

- Track purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries

- Manage warranty claims and returns when applicable

- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and safe

- Assist with equipment maintenance scheduling and documentation as needed

Qualifications

- Experience in heavy equipment, diesel, construction, or drilling parts is preferred

- Strong organizational and computer skills

- Ability to identify mechanical parts and read equipment manuals or parts diagrams

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Valid driver’s license

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse/shop environment
